Great ways to spend time on Waikiki Beach

Waikiki's known for its super long beach which extends for almost 3 kilometers. It's called "Waikiki Beach", but is actually comprised of 8 beaches.
This article will talk about great ways to enjoying spending time on the beach.

For Those Who Want the Full Beach Experience

●Prince Kuhio Beach

Prince Kuhio Beach is the most popular parts of Waikiki Beach.
It's located in the heart of Waikiki Beach and the beach features a statue of Hawaii's famous surfer Duke Kahanamoku.
The waves in the area are calm and even young children can enjoy the water without any problems.
There are many activities that first-time surfers can try out and many tourists actually learn how to surf here as well.
Royal Kaila Spa is right in front of Prince Kuhio Beach.

●Kahanamoku Beach

Located in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Duke Kahanamoku Beach was rated the top beach in the country in 2014 and still remains a popular beach in Hawaii.
It was actually the only Waikiki beach that was selected for the vote.

It's good for small children as the water is shallow and calm. There's also a state-of-the-art water circulation system installed.
The Hilton Lagoon, which is just behind the beach, can be used by non-guests. If you have a kid who's still new to beaches it's a great thing to try.
Activities such as kayaking and rowing are also popular.
After you're done in the water, Duke Kahanamoku Park is also a great, memorable place to check out.

For Those Who Love Quiet Time

●Sans Souci Beach

Waikiki may bring about a busy image, but Sans Souci Beach (sometimes called Kaimana Beach) is one of the quietest places one can go.

It's located in eastern Waikiki in front of the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel and is about 100 meters long.
As it's away from the center of town, not as many tourists go there and is instead more popular with the locals.
It also offers one beautiful sunset.

●Outrigger Canoe Club Beach

This is a small beach about 50 meters across on the easternmost part of Waikiki Beach.
From Kalakaua Avenue, you will enter condominium parking, and then you will pass through the path leading to the restaurant.
Of all the beaches, there's a possibility that you might be lucky enough to have this one to yourself.

Simply Enjoying The Sunset

●Grays Beach

Grays Beach is just around Halekulani, a short distance from the center of Waikiki.
Due to its location, some people make the mistake of it it being for hotel guests only, but in actuality it's open to anyone.

The beach starts in front of the Waikiki shore and serves as a famous sunset spot in Hawaii.

There is nothing to blocking the embankment and you'll be immersed in a romantic setting.
Sans Souci Beach (mentioned earlier) is also a good spot for sunsets.
