"Sphere" Opening this Weekend!

Students at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa will be performing in their annual mainstage dance concert "Sphere" this weekend at Kennedy Theatre (11/19-11/21). This production will be streamed online from the stage, and will be featuring works choreographed by both UHM Dance Faculty and local Hawai'i choreographers.

Hawaiian Monk Seals

Did you know the Hawaiian Monk Seal is Hawai'i's state mammal? Their Hawaiian name is "Ilio holo I ka uaua", which means "dog that runs in rough water", and they are one of two mammals that are endemic to Hawai'i (along with the Hawaiian hoary bat). Reminder that it if you see a monk seal on the beach, to please keep your distance as they are an endangered species!
