Exploring Shangri La
Shangri La was originally the Honolulu home of Doris Duke, and was inspired her travels through North Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. Today it is a museum of Islamic Art, culture and design. What a beautiful place to visit and get lost in for a few hours! The museum hosts tours Thursday through Saturday at 9:00, 11:00, 1:00, and 3:00.
