Reservations

Q1.Do I need to make a reservation in advance?

It is highly recommended that you make a reservation in advance.

Online reservation must be made at least 24 hours before the treatment date of your choice.

Within 24 hours, we can only receive reservations by phone or in person

Q2.How do I pay?

We only accept credit/debit card payments for online reservations. A hold will be made on your account to book the appointment, but your card will not be charged until time of service. In-person/phone reservations may be paid for at time of service. We accept credit/debit card or room charge payments.

Q3.Are there cases when I can't receive treatments depending on my physical condition?

Yes. Please read the notes about physical condition on the following page. Please refrain from drinking alcohol prior to your treatment.

Q4.How long before the reservation time do I have to come?

Please be at reception at least 15-20 minutes before the reservation time. Before the treatment, you will change your clothes and discuss your treatment.

Q5.If I'm late for my reservation, what should I do?

If you can't come on time, please call us by phone. (808-369-8088)
If you arrive after the starting time, we will have to shorten the time of your treatment so as not to make other customers wait. In such cases there are no refunds, so please try to arrive on time. We appreciate your understanding.

Q6.If I'd like to cancel a reservation, by when must I do so?

Cancellation policy is as follows:

For cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance, there is NO FEE.

Failure to cancel accordingly or No-shows incur a 100% charge.

Q7.Are children allowed?

All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign consent forms.

In the spa

Q1.What should I wear when receiving treatment?

We have bathrobes, sandals, and disposable underwear. For your comfort, please refrain from wearing your own clothes and underwear while receiving treatment. Please also remove any accessories where possible. All guests will be appropriately covered by towels or sheets at all times.

Q2.Should I remove contacts lenses?

It's up to you. You do not have to, but some guests feel more comfortable without them. If you wish to take them out, please be sure to bring a case to put them in or bring spare lenses.

Q3.What if I have sensitive skin?

Depending on your skin condition, we can change the oils and creams which we use. Please speak to your therapist about your condition.

Q4.What should I do with my valuables?

We recommend that you do not bring any valuables with you. Please also be aware that we assume no resposibility for the loss or theft of any personal possessions.

Q5.Can I request a specific treatment?

Yes, you may. You should let us your know treatment expectations. By talking to us you will be able to ensure your spa treatment is personalized according to your needs.
Also, when making your reservation, please let us know your special needs.

Q6.Can couples receive treatments together?

Yes. If two people would like to receive treatments at the same time and place, you can use the Premium Ocean Room (the special room for couples). However, since we only have one couple room, we recommend that you reserve well in advance to be certain you can get in.

Q7.Should I shave before my treatment?

We don't recommend that you shave just before any treatments involving exfoliation. As for other treatments, it should not matter. We do, however, recommend that those with sensitive skin not to shave immediately before coming. We recommend that men shave prior to receiving facials, but it is not required.

Q8.If I am staying in the Marriott, can I move between my room
and the spa wearing bathrobes?

Yes, but we request that you refrain from this, as there are a variety of other facilities close to our spa. Also, please bear in mind that Royal Kaila robes or sandals may not be taken out of the spa, even for guests staying in the hotel.
